ABOUT ME
| am Clare Anderson and since a young age I have always had a passion for helping animals in need. I was a volunteer at SPCA while I was in school. I have always felt that I have a special connection with animals. I have always been interested in psychology as well.

In 2014 | house-sat for an animal behaviourist and it was after this that I decided to study animal behaviour and training as it combined two of my passions which were animals and psychology.

I completed my certificate at COAPE in cat and dog behaviour and training in 2015 and in the same year I started my Diploma in Applied Animal behaviour and training through COAPE. I completed the course in June 2018

Since 2015 I have been volunteering at TEARS animal shelter. I walk the dogs, socialise the kittens and puppies and work with dogs and cats that have behaviour issues.

I was an assistant at Megan's Puppy School at St Francis Vet from October 2018 to February 2019. I help out at Sun Valley Training School with Jan Meyer when they need an extra pair of hands.

I have been house sitting for eight years so have had lots of exposure to all kinds of dogs and cats . I often end up house sitting for dogs that are fearuful, anxious or have other special needs. WIth my calm and gentle demeanor I find that these animals take to me.
